Just saw yesterday that Wild Bill Wilder passed away over on Matrix "General Discussions"


He was a giant in wargaming development and did some really cool stuff from Talonsoft all the way through Tiller games for over 45 years.

God Bless Bill, Rest in peace. You will be missed!

He was a big part of SSI's Steel Panthers - I probably have maybe 100 or more 3.5 inch disks of add on material that SSI was selling for that one.

Yes those old SP days, always looking for WBW as a sign of a quality scenario.

Back when I first was getting started in playing computer wargames, I would hunt all over to locate his scenarios to play first.

If his name was on it, you knew that you were going to play a top-rated and well designed scenario.

This is sad. I enjoyed reading his stuff
