I have played SP a lot but my last game was more than 10 years ago. A friend of mine and me have problems to start a PBEM game.

He has set up the game and sent cmt and dat files. All I had to do was entering a password and I have send cmt and dat files back. My friend copied both files into the PBEM Games folder but cannot see the game when he start the game.

What did we wrong?

Is it the free or paid version?

It is the paid version.

Did this get resolved? One of the things it might be is that often the write permissions need to be changed - not Read Only.

If your friend copies the two files to the PBEM folder you should see the game. Maybe you didn't copy it to the correct folder.
