During these weeks of lockdown, I finally had some spare time to play with JTS Marengo's scenario editor. After some days of solo testing, I think that one of my creations might be interesting to play HTH. I know that a specific section about scenario design does exist in this forum, but it seems to be inactive since 2012... So I wonder if might be better to post the scenario here and see if someone is interested in playing/testing it.

The Fourth Battle of Novi, 6 november 1799
[Historical] Gouvion Saint Cyr’s Mousetrap. On 6 November 1799 general Kray ordered an attack on the Novi and Pasturana heights, held by three French divisions under Gouvion St Cyr. It was nearly the same terrain of the August battle, when Joubert and MacDonald were defeated by Suvorov's Austro-Russian army. However, this time the French forces of Laboissiere and Watrin had received orders not to hold their positions to the last. They were instructed to perform instead a slow retreat to the heights behind the Braghena gorge, where they would join forces with Dombrowsky's Reserve. Gouvion's plan was in fact to lure Kray into advancing blindly behind his initial objectives, and then hit the Austrian columns off-balance. On his part, the Austrian commander had devised to flank the French first-line position sending a column under oberst Revay up the Francavilla road, which, if not taken seriously, might make Laboissière's retreat messier than expected.

The oob, pdt and design of the scenario are based on the article The 1799 Campaign in Italy: the 4th Battle of Novi (4 - 6 November 1799) published by Enrico Acerbi in The Napeoleon Series.
