Lately I've been getting into a book by Rick Atkinson called "The British are coming" and it's an excellent read. If you're into this era, I highly recommend it.
I happened to pick it up on kindle just the other day and noticed I could get it bundled with the Audible Book version for an extra 7.99. The unabridged audio book version is excellent and is well worth getting for those into audio books.
I like to listen to the audio, then refer to the kindle for maps, pics, and other details.
