Just noticed this, will be watching out for the release date, hex based 2D and 3D tactical with 200 historical vehicles and air support, para's and jungle plus more in the pipeline.
Looks very promising...  Smile
Really looking forward to this.  Turn-based.  Tactical level.  Scenario editor.  Really hope it has Play By E-mail (PBEM) among multiplayer options.
I’m keeping an eye on this one also. Their YouTube has some gameplay videos;

Here is a scenario playthrough https://youtu.be/6rD23e4oa6o

Here’s a video on tank movement which I found very interesting how tank movement status and facing is handled more deeply than you may expect from the graphics https://youtu.be/IfHef3qrQ2M
You guys sound like you would love Campaign Series.

Yes, enjoyed Campaign Series, played it on and off for over 20 years (1998 I think).  But that's the problem - 20 years.  Great gameplay (still) but it's dated, notably the graphics.  If they bring out a new one it'll be an instant purchase.  Also would like more tactical level than Campaign Series (and yes, have tried Squad Battles).

As it happens, one of the reasons I visit this site is to see what new games are on the ladder and which I might look at getting, so I can play others.  All (?) the games on the ladders seem really old - that's not a criticism of the club and its volunteers, but rather a shortage of play-by-email turn-based games it seems.

So how is CS different from PzC? I've looked at the screen shots and descriptions and it just looks like a dated version of PzC...
PzCs is Battalion level with the ability to breakdown most units into Companies and CS is Platoon level. They both may be dated, but, with every new title, all other titles are then brought up to date with the rules changes in the PzCs. Even though the title is 20 years old, the support is up to date so all titles are on the same level. You can't go wrong with any JT game.
