I just got the Units.bmp file back from Mark Adams today - needs just a few fixes and its ready. Then on to the 3D artwork.

Testing on the battles of Eylau and Friedland continues. Out of 5 total games 1 of them is done with the rest moving on along at various paces due to the holidays. One game of Friedland is halfway over.

Reduction of the artillery ammo for the Russians at Eylau will result in the historical issue where they didnt have enough rounds for their guns. This was due to the quick ending of the 1806 campaign. The Russians were relying on enough supplies to be had from their allies the Prussians. Without the depots that Prussia could provide the Russians were low on artillery ammo for the winter 1806-07 campaigns.

By the middle of January all of the artwork should be done. Probably another 3 weeks and I can begin finishing up all of the remaining files that need the artwork in order to be completed. This includes:

1. Army of CEF - pictorial PDF of the images for the game
2. Getting Started PDF - I need the final images for the units and the terrain to finish this
3. Screenshots for the product page

The game should be out in plenty of time for the 211th anniversary of the Battle of Eylau!
Wow, great news. Thank you.
Leaders.bmp file done ... 3D artwork up next ... the Leaders file has over 400 images this time because each officer gets their own image slot. We still will use the generic images for those officers for which we cannot find an image. This time, however, the leaders have a unique number so "modders" are able to insert an image if they like and it will be for that unique leader instead of being for 3-5 officers.

Still trying to finish by Feb 8th but we may slip a week or two. The idea here is that we are really making good progress. Never trying to be in a race the most important thing is quality.

Yes, indeed. I'm anxious for this one, but still patient for the good of the game.
Two of my team are going through the scenarios with me ferreting out the errors. Always good to have multiple pairs of eyes working at the end with me.
Game screen images done ... on to the 3D artwork ... 2 weeks max is what Mark said ...
While we wont release the game by tomorrow we are very close. I began work on the Getting Started PDF/Tutorial which is pretty much one of the last things I do.

Feedback from the playtesters was that the Russian left flank at Eylau needs to release sooner. I agreed with them and made changes to several of the scenarios.

Wont be long now, guys! Mark was fighting through illness and the frozen tundra of Michigan last week so figure he is doing his best to get the artwork done.
Great news! Thanks. Just i wonder if @Philippe is also ready for his upcoming CEF mod? ^^
Philippe will get a copy of the game (free) when its released and will be able to start work on the mod then.

Update: I got the 3D formed infantry image file from Mark Adams earlier this week, looked it over and only 3 images needed to be changed (all shoulder strap color issues). The cavalry are the only other file of size that he has to do. Wont be long now.
Game out next week at the latest .... final artwork is done and we are just getting everything organized for the final review build. I have the Getting Started PDF to do along with the screenshots for the product webpage along with a check of the Terrain Effects Chart PDF for correct images.

Hoping for Monday ..... maybe sooner if everything goes smoothly.
