I have purchased both Stalingrad '42 and Kharkov '43, and I really like what both have to offer. I find myself having more fun playing Stalingrad '42 because I feel like there are more scenarios designed for the Axis player. I am not as pleased with Kharkov '43 becuase it feels like most of the AI scenarios are designed for the Soviet player with little to no scenarios where you can play as the Axis against the AI.

Which Panzer Campaigns game has a good amount of scenarios designed for the Axis player against the AI besides Stalingrad '42 if any? Or, which game(s) in the JTS style of games provide good scenarios designed for either the Axis player or Allied player? I am mostly just opposed to playing as the Soviets because their OOB doesn't interest me as much.

Thanks!

Thank you  Big Grin
I wouldn't recommend purchasing and playing PzC titles for the AI. That said Moscow '41 is my favorite. Though it is graphically dated there is alot of content and because the AI is simply setup in massive fixed lines and reaction forces in many scenarios it can put up resistance against a human player's attempts to break through.
I'm really enjoying Minsk'44 campaign #623-02 Minsk CG Alt scn by Brian Jennings, the Germans against the AI with advantage set at 30% for the Russians, 40% might be a tad too much.
My rule of thumb is +20 AI defender, +40 AI attacker. Any less and you're playing 18 holes with a one armed man without handicap. ;]
Would recommend +30 AI advantage when your are attacker but I only play the big Campaign games.
My understanding is that most PZC are played SOLO by the silent majority.
Welcome to the blitz! IMHO...Stop playing the AI and dive into this amazing game system against live opponents-the difference is night and day in excitement and enjoyment! Cheers, Jon

My PBEM days are over, John Tiller and Gary Grisbys, good times. Here a link to a old M'44 AAR on this forum.
PBEM and/or online play are not something I wish to use at this time. I get that these games are best played with others, but I am just not interested in that until I am used to these games' systems. I think the AI seems pretty competent in some of the scenarios that I have played (obviously not comparable to a human player).  What I am really looking for is a game I can play against the AI. If not John Tiller, can someone recommend something that is more suited to single player?

Something about the style and visuals of the John Tiller games really grabs my interest. Single player against the AI, even if not challenging, is how I am getting enjoyment out of the games at this time. I could steamroll the AI and still have a fairly good time. I just want the immersion.
