We're very happy to release the Gold update for Budapest '45.

This update comes with all the same updates seen in the previously revised games.

What are the units with the stripe in them? How do you get the stripe to appear?

I don't know if they are different in B'45, but in S'42 those blue stripes represent Naval infantry.

Yes, they are Soviet Naval Infantry.

They were introduced in the Volcano Man Alt scenarios. They use a different nationality (in this case Belgian) so that the counters can be different.

The Naval infantry from memory are in Budapest, Stalingrad and both Moscow '41 & Moscow '42.

Talking about new counter graphics, here is a sneak peak at some new Italian counters from the upcoming Panzer Battles 3.

All pay homage to Volcano Man's original work in his Compass '40 mod for El Alamein.

The counters with a green strip are Libyan, the ones with the black/grey are Blackshirts.

Can we assume that the new Italian counter graphics will also "migrate" over to the pending PzC Mediterranean / desert Gold version titles?
