Hi,

I have bought CMBN just after release but never really played the game. Now I have found out there are upgrades 3 and 4 available in the Battlefront store. Do I need to buy if I want to play a PBEM game with someone who has one of these upgrades installed?

Both players do need to be running the exact same version.

So, you don't neeeed to upgrade but the vast majority of players here are up to date so it is much easier to find opponents if you are too.

Finally I have installed CMBN on a new computer and upgraded V2.0 to V4.0. When I start the game it tells me that data files are missing (normandy v220.brz and v312.brz).

Any idea what went wrong?

Probably patches. One thing you can do is download the full v4 installer and do a full install. Or you can contact support to try to figure out what patches you are missing.
