Between work and travel I have been very busy.
But, I noticed that the Campaign Series forum has been unusually quiet.

Is it time to begin a half track discussion?
Maybe extreme assault?
Game scale?
The demise of the series itself?
Or, just how good ME, and it's scenarios, really is?

Absolutely time to bring up 6 minute turns and 250 meters per hex as per the original rule books.  Rolling Eyes Whistle

Quiet!?

Who said anything about quiet?

Its down right deafening! ROTFLMAO

Just been busy with CS mostly and to a lesser extent Tigers on the Hunt (sales plug) plus recovering from hernia surgery. No, my love for CS did not cause the surgery but may be giving me carpal tunnel. I think it was carrying the 3 cases of Bud Light three months ago at one time that may have done me in! Propeller Hat

A shameless plug for what I'm working on:

Only 5 games going, 4 with EFII including 2 of the relatively new Barbarossa scenarios. One game going in WF with none other than the wild and wonderful Scud!

Still toying around with CSME and trying to get the A/I to rip my ass. The A/I needs to get a big time kill attitude, nuff said. Even with 30+ Sagger AT units it is still not enough of a bitch against my Sho't Kal's! Maybe if I give the A/I a 100% advantage I might loose! BTW watch out for the darn civilians. They will really hurt your score if you liquidate to many of them.

Also been playing around with the World War One mod for CS. That is a whole different kind of combat from EF and WF. Indirect fire artillery that scatters all the time and what about the chemical attacks! Geez, stuff dies quick but there is a lot of stuff. And the poor horses, they get the hind tit all the time. They get whacked faster than the troops!

Now for my latest bitch with the old and unfinished CS. That will be unfinished forever I guess.

A new topic that maybe someday will occupy a spot in the halls of CS debate right up there with halftracks!

What the hell are railroad engineers suppose to do? We never really did get that. Construction guys build stuff, Bridge guys build bridges but railroad engineers do what? Lay track, tear up track, clean track or just sit over on a log singing songs and eating lunch. Maybe we could have a new aback wave for the singing on a log. Maybe someone from Norfolk and Southern could jump in here and let us know the value of these railroad units.

Other than that CS still marches on in this humble hovel.

With the holidays coming on, will have some more time for CS. But honestly the darn job is starting to get in the way!

Please get here retirement, pretty please with sugar on it!

Cheers all!

Half tracks. Got 'em. Use 'em.

Extreme assault. When the scenario calls for it. Otherwise... Hide4

Game scale. Only Einstein could stretch and change time. Thank you 3

Series demise. Sad ... very sad. Voodoo Doll

ME. I still have no interest. I still hear same old complaints. I have no confidence that it will ever be worth the purchase price. Fishing2

No need for a flak jacket Dave. Unless it hides your Christmas sweater? Accordion

No, but the plaid looks nice against the madras shirt, as long as I don't get wet.
Biosforas here, speaking of half trxs, my favorite half trx  scene will always be from the movie, "Saving Private Ryan,"  where the troopers from the Ranger & 101 ABD ambush & destroy the recon half trx from what ever ss division was advancing on what ever town our heroes were in.
Always love a good series of half track pics. Thumbs Up

We've gone past Ludicrous Speed straight to Plaid. (Even the flak jacket.)
