Forums - Looking for opponents [matchmaking]

Hi Guys,

From a new member.

Looking for an opponent to play a secure PBEM SPWW2 ver. 10.01 long battle using the stock oobs, with a club member. I can complete 3-5 moves / week.
I will complete the game set using a version of the Normandy, Dickie's bridge map (40x160) using logical and fair victory point hexes.

Britain vs Germany; 7/44
Meeting engagement
Length 44 turns.
Visibility 57
Points: 7000 British
6400 Germany

Limits:
up to 20% max. points of artillery for both sides.
No first round artillery bombardments.
Aircraft up to 4 for allies, nil for axis.

My opponent can select his side and army.

I prefer to play historical equipment type battles, let me know if your interested.

Did you ever find an opponent? They are pretty rare now sorry to say; even I only play two games max at a time now when I use to play around 15. If you can't find anyone then maybe try at Shrapnel, I think they are more active at the moment.

Thanks for asking. No luck so far, players do seem to be as 'scarce as hens teeth'. The active ladder for SP appears to be very small compared to its heyday, for still what is the classic WW2 strategy game. Perhaps I will have to broaden my horizons and seek out opponents elsewhere as you suggested. The post is still open for any opponent, however.

Good to hear! I was going to ask a buddy of mine if he was interested but he is busy right now. At the far end I was going to accept although I didn't really want to extend myself. And to whomever accepted...Bravo Zulu!
