Out of curiosity? Why is there no Jagdpanther in the TO&E ? I'm pretty sure Heavy PanzerJaeger battalions participated in Konrad? Was there a reason this equipment was left out?

Not so sure there were, in that, if I recall the allocation of JGD's went to northern Germany, Prussia in Jan 45 for Op Solstice slated for in Feb....I remember reading somewhere, Speer gave 70 of them ( all they had out pf production) to a unit up there because he knew their commander.....

To give context, I guess I'm confused since TOAW III scenario I played had them and you know every scenario from TOAW 3 is gospel :).

I think the boys at Tiller studied the TO&E pretty extensively and if there were no Jadgpanthers, then there were no SdkFz 173's.

Volcano tho added Jadgpanzer IV's with the L70 gun. They aren't in the unmodded TO&E scenarios.

I've found they are good flaming hulks in all but most engagements. The Volcano ALT versions do a nice job at limiting the ability of armor to be lone wolves in most engagements. I like the combined arms and realistic nature of that kind of simulation, makes you think.

We actually had another guy on our team for the Budapest title. I can't recall his name off hand. He only did the one game with us ... I won't go into that part ... but suffice to say, I think his research into the OOBs was pretty darn solid.
