I'm looking for an opponent for the following setup:

World War III has begun in Europe.

Warsaw Pact are tying to force a passage through the Belts but have been unable to break the NATO defence on southern Sjealland despite feeding considerable forces into the effort. Operations in neighbouring Sweden have met with more success and an opportunity to attempt a flanking move by landing a force north of Copenhagen presents itself.

The move, though risky, is decided upon and carried out. Aug 15 Warsaw Pact forces attempt to establish two small bridgeheads north of Copenhagen. One lasts only two hours before being overrun by counterattacking NATO forces. The second one, at HUMLEBAEK, survives the night.

Aug 16, morning – the Danes have regrouped for a counterattack, but the available forces are limited. The Poles hold a small strip of the coast north of HUMLEBAEK which they need to enlarge if the operations are to continue. Their troops have taken substantial losses and must advance with only marginal advantage in numbers. Failure to secure more ground will likely mean the end of the bridgehead...

Poland vs Denmark
Meeting Engagement (Victory Hex Flag advantage to Denmark)
Denmark 10 000 Battle points, Poland 12 000 battle points
Air Sorties: 5 (both sides)
Date: August 1985
Visability: 45
Map: Custom map - Humlebaek, Denmark 200x160
Wulfir.
I am a simple man. I see '80s battle on big scale, I volunteer. It is that simple.

Optionally I can provide ORBATs of Polish naval brigade ;)
Otherwise taking one more. Just set on basic security due to Easter time.

Basic security it is. Thumbs Up

You want the Polish side....? :)

PS
I'd be very interested in the Polish Naval Brigade Org..., even if this set up would not be IMHO outrageous if played using regular army formations...
That looks like that tournament that never really got off the ground long ago; maybe 8 years ago?
Actually the most detailed data on Polsih Naval Brigade was available here, in my tournament. I am not mad it was deleted, but entire orbats of like 40 historical formations were removed as well... and that' s a loss for historians :E

This game can completely simulate up to brigade/regiment scale. And I love that scale.

You wanted structure:

POLISH 7TH NAVAL INFANTRY DIVISION (1986) [AFTER POLISH SOURCES - namely Niebieskie Berety, Żołnierz Polski 1993 nr 9]:

11 Batalion Czołgów Pływających – Słupsk (w latach 70. batalion czołgów średnich) [11th Amphibious Tanks Battalion (until '70s a battalion of medium tanks - probably switched from T-55 to PT-76)]
41 Dywizjon Artylerii – Gdańsk (dywizjon rakiet taktycznych) [41st Artillery Group (Tactical Balistic Missiles Group) - this unit had 2 batteries, each with 2 platoons of ballistic missiles, jointly 4x R-70 missile systems]
20 Dywizjon Artylerii Rakietowej – Gdańsk [20th Rocket Artilllery Group - "Dywizjon" is equivalent to battalion (+) force, but often its direct battalion equivalent in armour, cavalry and artillery units. Equivalent to "Wing" in Air Force - unit equipped with 2x BM-21 Grad Batteries]
18 Batalion Saperów – Lębork (wcześniej pod nazwą 58 Batalionu Saperów) [18th Sapper Battalion (before 58th Sapper Battalion - 3 combat engineer companies)]
7 Batalion Remontowy – Słupsk [7th Maintenance Battalion]
29 bateria artylerii przeciwlotniczej – Gdańsk [29th Battery of AA Artillery - no data what unit here or if self-propelled]
52 kompania rozpoznawcza – Lębork [52nd Recon Company - no data of equipment]
7 kompania chemiczna – Słupsk [7th Chemical Company]
23 kompania łączności – Gdańsk [23th Signal Company]
7 kompania zaopatrzenia – Gdańsk [7th Supply Company]
23 kompania medyczna – Gdańsk [23th Medical Company]
33 kompania dowodzenia szefa OPL – Gdańsk [33rd HQ Company of divisional AA defence commander - not sure what these guys did]
kompania ochrony i regulacji ruchu – Gdańsk [Protection and traffic company]
pluton dowodzenia szefa artylerii – Gdańsk [HQ platoon of divisional artillery commander]

Commanders:
gen. bryg. Otton Roczniok (1963) jako dowódca 23 DD
płk dypl. Henryk Rzepkowski (1963-1968)
płk dypl. Stanisław Kruczek (1968-1970)
płk dypl. Tadeusz Urbańczyk (1970-1973)
gen. bryg. Leszek Kozłowski (1973-1978)
gen. bryg. Henryk Szafrański (1978-1986)
(I can provide regimental commanders if needed)

REGIMENTAL UNITS:

4th "Pomeranian" Naval Assault Regiment (1964-1985 era, equipment was upgraded) was made of:

HQ and Staff

Signal Platoon
Traffic control platoon
5x Naval Assault Companies (9x TOPAS and 3x 82 mm each)
4x assault platoons in each coy
mortar platoon in each coy
Amphibious Tanks Company (16x PT-76)
3x Tank Platoon
Mortar battery (6x mortar 120 mm)
2 firing platoons
ATGM Battery (6 launchers)
2x ATGM platoons
Technical Coy
AA Platoon
Recon Platoon(4x BRDM) [probably BRDM-2]
Engineer Platoon
Maintenance (?) Platoon [not sure, unusual polish marking]
Medical Platoon

34th "Bautzen" Naval Assault Regiment and 35th "Gdansk/Danzig" Naval Assault Regiment:
Same as above, but Amphibious Tank Company each had only 7x PT-76 (at least sources say so with details)
POLISH 7TH COASTAL DEFENCE BRIGADE (1989-1990 [until early 1989 unit remained in regimental structure mentioned before, no changes]) [AFTER POLISH SOURCES - namely Niebieskie Berety, Żołnierz Polski 1993 nr 9]:

Dowództwo i sztab – Gdańsk [HQ & Staff]
7 Batalion Dowodzenia – Gdańsk [7th Command Battalion]
4 Batalion Obrony Wybrzeża – Lębork [4th Coastal Defence Battalion]
34 Batalion Obrony Wybrzeża – Słupsk [34th Coastal Defence Battalion]
35 Batalion Obrony Wybrzeża – Gdańsk [35th Coastal Defence Battalion]
20 Dywizjon Artylerii Mieszanej – Gdańsk [20th Mixed Artillery Group]
18 Batalion Saperów – Lębork [18th Sappers Battalion]
7 Batalion Remontowy – Słupsk [7th Maintenance Battalion]
29 Dywizjon Artylerii Przeciwlotniczej – Gdańsk [29th Air Defence Group]
23 Kompania Medyczna – Gdańsk [23th Medical Company]
7 Kompania Zaopatrzenia – Gdańsk [7th Supply Company]
7 kompania przeciwchemiczna - Lębork [7th Anti-Chemical Warface Company]

I have no data on battalion structures here, sorry.
In 1990, all 22 Projekt 770/771 assault ships were scrapped with Projekt 767 Lublin class remaining in service.
PT-76 tanks were withdrawn from service in 1995, so they probably served within battalions

Commanders:

płk dypl. Ryszard Lackner (1986-1988)
płk dypl. Zbigniew Głowienka (1988-1992)
płk dypl. Andrzej Wołowiecki (1992-1995)

PLEASE DON'T LOOSE THIS, THANK YOU!
And just to mention in this third final post I also have complete polish orbat for 1985-1989 period if anyone is interested (just please don't make me translate it :P). Aaaand since this forum is also about history, I recommend creating a topic where we maybe could group such ORBATs. May come in handy in battles and scenario designers.

Thank you, SaSTrooP!

Especially handy for scenario designers I think.

My experience with Blitz players is that they generally prefer "creative" OOBs in battle with mostly top of the line equipment. I have played plenty of Poland vs Germany, September 1939 games - and with few exceptions come up against  about the same amount of Pz IV tanks as fielded by a full Panzer Division, and about the same amount of SdKfz 251 as fielded by the entire Wehrmacht in 1939... Wink
I think TO&E is more important than the OOB actually; I was able to find the Polish OOB no problem, but finding out what equipment made up a tank company in 1965 was much harder. The OOB will not allow players to create a 'realistic' buy as they don't show what should be purchased and in what amounts.

TO&Es are very hard to come by and if they can be found I have no problem putting them into a sticky, as long as the work is no copyright infringed like my article was.
To clarify: by saying OOB I also mean TO&E in the process. And if others are also up to it, having cuch thread could be a nice addition.
