Hi Chris !!

No its a totally different game ( very complex and very interesting !).

AE - WiTP is a lot older (circa 2003 ( I think).

Like me, its an old game but a keeper !.

Regards

Toni
Ok, thanks Toni. And hello to you too, long time since we crossed swords bro.
From the game CD released 2009, best wargame ever, it has a steep learning curve.
Great value for money, years of enjoyment.

The good news is it's on sale NOW !!!, I think it's reduced by 50%.

The AE stands for A(dmirals) E(dition)   http://www.matrixgames.com/products/351/...'s.Edition

Which is the expanded version of the original game.

If you use the link I have attached you can read more.

As Lowlander said, it is a game with a steep learning curve but it is good to play.

It is currently the only ladder game I play ( Thanks Iley & Kilroy for playing me !).

But isn't this a Greg Grinsby design originally?
It is originally a Gary Grigsby design
