Hello gents!

I am currently playing the West Germany mega-campaign game in Modern Campaigns as the NATO side against 2 fine gentleman. We are barely into mid-day on day one, so I haven't made any strategic errors yet! We play 1-2 turns a week and all 3 of us are very reliable and consistent.

I'm looking for another fine general to help me command the NATO armies and repel the Commies back to their caves! You would be jumping into the existing campaign and we can divide up responsibilities as you like.

If you are interested and can commit to 1-2 turns a week, let me know!

Cheers, J

Yes sir! I will PM you and we can get going. God Bless you sir!! J
larsonney, if I may ask, how do you manage co-op in your campaign? Do you guys send the save file back and forth or how does that work?

I'm looking into playing the Computer together with a friend sometime soon.

Thanks

Hello!

Yes...in a team game, my partner and I get the same file from the other team. We both look at the previous turn. We decided at the beginning who does what and who goes first.

In my current scenario, I go second. So I get the new file and review. Then my partner sends me his turn and I save that file, then complete my turn and email everyone the completed game turn (My partner can't open it, but he knows its been completed). My partner and I will usually discuss strategy, issues we see from the turn, etc. when he sends me his saved turn for me to complete.

Hope this helps! Cheers...J
Some teams also elect a CinC and he takes what he sees and other ideas and makes a decision on what to do and also where reinforcements go or even take troops from one Cdr and give to another for something. Also handles the final end turn and emails with opposing team. Another way is if you have good/great teammates like I have in a Minsk campaign that I only gave general orders/ideas/objectives to in the beginning and what forces they have and left them to their own devices. They attempt to achieve the general idea any way they see fit. If a teammate fails, so what, team games rock if you have the ability to play one and enough on a team so you can be a part of a monster campaign and not have to do everything.
Yeah, team games are a blast, just completed a monster CS-WW1 game with 7 players, good stuff!
Probably best to have the CinC to assign orders and forces. Can always play again and switch CinC duties out each time. One very important issue is at least a CinC to be the only one to handle emails back and forth the your opponents.
