I couldn't find any mods for the FWW Operational Campaign games. Are such impossible, discouraged or forbidden?

There is nothing discouraged or forbidden about it. By all means, if you want to make new scenario, modify an existing one, or modify artwork then go ahead and share it with others. To each their own. :)

All the editing tools that were available for PzC are in FWWC titles, so making a mod WW1 scenario takes no more skill than WW2.

I think the enthusiasm we saw to create mod scenarios in the early days of PzC seems to have slowly seeped away over time, so I am not particularly surprised that no one has created mod scenarios for the FWWC series which is a relatively new addition to this ladder.  Wink

One exception on the tools - the OOB can't be altered! But with such a large map in both games, there are plenty of opportunities that aren't covered by the scenarios.

Honestly, there are so many really good scenarios that there hasn't been any need for mods as yet. That would be my interpretation of the facts. jonny   Mex Big Grin

I like the CS terrain myself, and added some texture, just my pref. Still working on it.

I got it from the Campaign Series, but have changed a lot of it with a texture mod I did for EF, WF, and RS. If you want to email me, I can send you the work in progress to try on for size, using JSGME.
