Ongoing Battle of Lyck, 9th Kompanie/Reserve units getting hammered, trying to take Plistken, where a couple batteries of Russian guns are making life miserable! Daylight came on just a few turns ago, this is a Dawn attack

Further West at Klaussen, Pommerisches Reserve Rgt Nr.49, and Reserve Dragoner Rgt Nr.5 struggles to cross a river, while a MG section and guns, some Russian infantry thwart their efforst!

There is an update for WW1 up in the mods section!
What do the pack horses do? I assume they need to be kept within a certain amount of hexes for supply?

Hi Dave, pack horses are just another load-bearing unit, I like the concept of them being a supply-device though!!! Hmmmmm.....
Just posted some bases by Gary Collins, aka XLVIII Pz. Korp, and a WW1 update to fix a few things! Up in the Hosted CS mods area/WW1.

You're very welcome. This is without a doubt the best mod I've ever played with.  Maps are beautiful.  Unit appearances FANTASTIC!  Wish I could build bitmaps like that.  Highly recommend this to all.
I thought most of the battles were fought from trenches. Where one wave of troops would come out and advance after they had artillery cover. Playing a scenario I see it was not all trenches on both sides throwing their bodies at each other.
