Hi all,

Here is a textured 3D terrain mod, to go along with the 2d mod earlier. It is set up for JSGME, so unzip the file into your mods folder of John Tillers Campaign Series, and then enable using the swapper. It adds more texture to the open terrain, to give one more of a feel for undulating open ground, rather than a bowling green. In the desert, I accentuated the scrub a bit more, and toned down the day glo cactus, would still like to do them a bit more, but running out of time to spend on this, gotta get back to graphics-making! For now, this is for WF only, and only for the zoomed in 3D mode, so the other two remain unchanged. Hope you like it!

Hey Mike,

Absolutely awesome my friend!! Respect4

Checked it out on 3D zoom in, the texture is perfect in fact I think it enhances the look of the forest hexes by a generation. The fields are perfect too!

Nice addition to my game, thanks!

John
Mike, it is subtle but pops all the same. Great work.
I'm sorry that this was not done sooner.

I really think it adds so much to the look, sorry I didn't think of this 10 years ago!! However, going forward, I WILL make sure a mod like this is done for all releases!!
I'm now both happy and saddened.

I was wondering if I use the mod and am playing another player in pbem. How does that work. If he does not have the Mod in use will it adversely effect our game?
I am sure if the mod overwrites the existing files as they will using the same code. You will see the enhanced and your opponent will see the basic terrain.
Have not had an issue yet. And, I have played a couple games using it. Though, I am only sure that one group of opponents does not have it. I'll have to check with Randy to see if it is a factor.

That's right, any graphics mod one player has in place does not affect the other player at all!
Not an issue at all, like Ed said, you will see it, they won't, it doesn't change any code or how the game performs, just aesthetics!!
