There is a snapshot function under the file menu that will make a BMP of the map in the current scenario. You can then use a program like Paint to then convert the BMP file to a JPG file.
If you want a clean map (i.e. no units), use the scenario editor to create a scenario with the map you want and don't place any units on it. You can then load this new scenario in game and use the snapshot function to create your clean map.

I also use the PC tool "print screen" which on my laptop keyboard is shown as "prt sc" to take a screen shot of anything that is displayed on my PC, you can then use the default paint program to crop the image add arrows and text and then save the file as a .jpeg to be emailed or placed in a post.
