For the past few months i hav been IP blocked on battlefronts site for unknown reasons. i have talked to theyre web guy several times but he does not know why and the blocked doesnt tell him why.I regularly run norton system mechanic and spybot to keep my comp super clean. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and found a solution or if one of you tech saavy types and maybe give me some pointers as to why this is happening
It sounds to me like your AV is listing the site as unsafe and blocking it (perhaps by certificate). Have you tried connecting to the site without your AV running to check? Are you using Firefox?, if so try connecting in safe mode (help>restart with addons disabled).
Your IP address is on known spam blacklists: http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/t....10.221.67. If you have a static IP (you pay extra for that) then you'll have to figure out what's going on with your computer, then contact the blacklist hosts and ask to be reevaluated. There will be a link on their site to request it.

If you have a cable modem and aren't paying for a static IP (ie, you have a dynamic IP), first ascertain your IP address (ipchicken.com), then try unplugging the modem and leaving it off for a minute or two. Turn it back on and, again, go ipchicken.com and see if you've drawn a new IP number. If so, try the battlefront site again.

If you can't draw a new IP, contact your ISP and tell them what's going on.

Note, if your computer is sending spam, the problem will re-occur. Try running the free malwarebytes.com. It can find things spybot misses. Also, try running this tool: https://www.sophos.com/en-us/products/fr...-tool.aspx.

You're not specific about battlefront blacklisting you. Is it when emailing them, viewing their site, logging on to their site? Their site is made using a content management system called Joomla. Joomla sites get attacked a lot, so they've probably installed a software firewall plugin. Do you see an error when going to their site?

If this is a problem with their software firewall, they could be blocking your IP, or your user name might be blocked for too many login failures. Usually you have 3-5 chances, then you're logged out for a few hours. Either way, their IT guy should be able to fix both, unless he's not really the IT guy, but just someone who's managing the website. Anyway, see if any of the above work and, if not, we'll go from there.

It isnt on my end and its blocking my router IP specificly, i can log in at a different hotspot. i asked them about certs and he said that wasnt the problem, it was likely malware. i had something on that was fishy and i removed it i still keep getting blacklisted though. (they have unblocked me several times)
