Have the problem in Kampfgruppe Froehlich. I can not move into the Hex 10,11 my English tanks wont not move? Why? Can anybody help?

There could be a German unit hidden in that town. I have seen something similar in Omaha Beach scenario. The German headquarters unit was hidden in the town andI had tried from all directions to enter the town. I had used engineer units to clear mines and obstracles all around the town. Tried travel mode. It took an assault on the town to uncover the German unit.

You need to do some "recon spotting" ..... you will need a "recon" capable unit within visual range of the hex to do it - its something us Brits do whilst we're having tea

WOW! Just wow! What a slam to the British. I would say it's more like the British need the USA to bail them out and do the hard work of taking the VP

Or as said already, there is a hidden German unit in the hex

Recon spotting isn't necessary, there's no limitation to the hexes tanks can assault provided they can legally move into them.

If there is a unit there, he should also get a "Unit does not have enough Movement Points to assault" pop-up.

Recon spotting will work too in Travel Mode or only in Travel Mode?

I can not start a Assault! The Program say:
"No defending hex has been specified!!"

Is this a bug?

I can not enter this hex 10,11!

Try this:

Highlight the hex.
Select Assault Menu - Begin Assault
Select Assault Menu - Add to Assault - Select one of the tank units
Select Assault Menu - Resolve Assault

Now that's interesting ..... I presumed (based on my prior attempts in this situation) that the unit had to be spotted (using Recon spotting) prior to being assaulted .... nice one


Now ... on the matter of tea drinking .... I warn you - I will be in the States in August ...... pistols or swords?     an' I drink "Yorkshire Tea" !!
