Guys,

Was wondering if it is still possible to change map types with new Middle East game.

If I remember, I could change a map in the original WF title from Europe to Mediterranean, or visa-versa and the Divided Ground maps from desert to Mediterranean, and again visa-versa by altering some of the coding.

Again, if my memory serves me right you could open a map in Windows notepad and change at least one of the first lines of coding to alter the map type.

Is this still possible and does anyone know the coding change needed to alter a desert map to a Mediterranean one?

I ask because I recently dug out a bunch of maps from 2007 that I made for DG and it's original MODs, and while they open and work fine with the new Middle East game (which was a very nice surprise), I would like to change a desert map to a Mediterranean map.

Cheers.

Jason Petho is the person to discuss this with.  He's the map guru for ME.  FYI, there is a change in elevation capability so any map created earlier will not reflect the new changes.
