Comrades

after battling almost literally to the last man, the Axis HQ admit the inutility of further struggle.

The 8th Army has annihilated the Panzerarmee Afrika and deserves full recognition of its strategic victory. Have a look at the survivors in the latest file, just sent to Jesse. Axis password was "Afrikacorps"

I personally want to thanks all the Commanders who shared this epic scenario, who helped to make it possible, and even those who dropped off along the road. It has been a privilege to know so many proven fighters.

Please write your impressions if you like, I would be pleased to know about.

I enjoyed this battle very much.

Great game.Thank you all.I think the British artillery was to much for the Axis.
OMG, I was forced to drop from this as I got too busy with Matrix work about 4-5 years ago, what a monster of a game!! I was a commander of an Italian division for a couple years!! At that point, the Brits were just starting to break through, good stuff!

GIO !
OMG !
I had no idea that the fight was still on.
I got dropped out at the end of 2011 as the Axis Italian X Corpo.
About turn 37 then ... and X Corpo was falling back.

My Pavia Div was doing a risky rearguard , too close and
getting shot up for the trouble.

Brescia Div was mostly destroyed and overrun in parts ,
and Folgore AB Div ( Mike Amos ! )was reduced , survivors were
also falling back.

My command had urged that 21 Pz.Div elements get north NOW,
as trouble was brewing just north of the X Corpo zone.

SO .... looks like " kaput " for our guys after all !
What did happen to the X Corpo ?

And .. YES .. British A
rtillery was very, very bad news !!

Regards, Senor' !

Awesome stuff, gentlemen, I take a bow! Salute

If PBEM as such is great fun - and it is - it is the team games that really rule Helmet Smile
Thank'you Sirs

one day or another I would like to pass the battle and the map joiner software to the depot, surely after some little adjustments.....isn't ?
Altough the scenario was made with the old Talonsoft WF, I am sure that Digger would be able to covert it to the new JT WF.

History let little space for a real balance of the forces, but something could be done to reduce the overwhelming of allied artillery.

Thank'you all and best.
