Hello everyone here at the Blitz. I know it's been a long while since I've logged in or posted a game to my stats. I come to you all now with some bad news. My friend and certainly a lot of you who played him knew him well. Matt Alnut aka MajLifer passed away on Jan 26th 2015. In his sleep by a massive heart attack. I know Matt had and made a lot friends here over the years. Between him & my self we went back nearly 25 year playing Steel Panthers. Some may have know him from Case's ladder league using SPIII, some from Matrix forums and Mplayer and finally here at the Blitz starting in 2001. His death was sudden and unexpected. A lot of the Steel Panther guys and Blitz members have been playing World of Tanks the last three years. We have a Face Book page for anyone who would like to read or leave comments or memories of battles together. He is survived by a son and daughter and one grandson. Matt was 49, lived in NY. We still play SP today, Some with Barts SPWAW fr mod, most with SPWAW 8.403 AND a few still use Leo's H2H mod which I enjoyed the most. Most of all our emails are current or still in use. We've been recruiting new SP players in our WoT Clan, as a requirement to earn higher ranking. I personally will try to get a few of them to sign up here for the ladder league & ect. to post our game results. Thank you and God bless. We just ask to let " MajLifers "stats stand as a testament of his love for this game. Major once said," steel panthers was the best all round warfare game ever made." Helmet Wink once again Thank You. Aaron H. aka Ironfist.
Sad news indeed. I don't think I ever played him, but I do remember him. Pass on the clubs condolences to his family please.

Yes, sad news indeed.
A name I remember though I never battled against him.
My condolences.
