I saw in another thread that sometimes the JTS folks stop in and review feature requests from the user community.

If that is valid, I'd like to check on the feasibility of including a local save game feature for the IOS.

I've seen this implemented on some less evolved game systems such as the Hunted Cow games and was hoping it could be enabled on Touch Panzer and Modern Campaigns?

I like to take check-points in the battles and try different strategies off of a particular situation I encounter.

Without the ability to save to different local instances, I need to restart and then try to repro that condition - which can be quite frustrating at times.

Anyways .... that's the request ...

I think all the games are great so far .... this feature would just make them even better.

Thanks for your time.

I'd suggest that you take this suggestion over to the forum at http://hpssims.com.c7.previewyoursite.com/forums/

You're much more likely to have one of the JTS guys see it and bring it to John's attention there than here.

Thanks for the advice Gary, I will follow up there too.

The whole arrangement between JTS <-> HPS still is a bit murky to me.

I saw a recent interview with John and it seemed that Blackie was developing the Mobile Apps (and those seemed not be under the HPS framework).

I'll give it a shot though ... hopefully they won't mind an inquiry about non-HPS products ...
HPS was the publisher for JTS, although that ended I think in 2010 (whenever Kharkov 43 came out) -JTS is now the publisher in addition to developer for its own material.

Anything new will only come out through JTS (which includes the apps) -then entire HPS/JTS thing gets murky because there are a group of guys out there that continue to post in terms of HPS ( or rather I have seen it around the traps so to speak).

I can't guarantee anything -but I will point out this thread to Blackie.
Thanks for the clarification and the follow-up Trauth.

I suspected something similar but was not sure how continued development and support played out for Intellectual Property previously published under the HPS banner.

JTS seems like a "lean and mean" company and that their available resources are consistently focused on development and support rather than spending loads of time with the user community on a proprietary forum - so it's great that you guys have their ear to a limited degree ....
Well in terms of the last couple of PzC titles, the new PzB series and FWWC we have the designers active on the forums here at the Blitz, unfortunately we have lost Glenn Saunders from these forums for the older PzC titles, however several of the older guys who tested/helped design these titles do still read these forums.
