HPS just released update V1.05 for France '14.
Changes to France '14 V1.05
- Increase in HQ restoration rate.
- Changes to some resource files.
Please note that this update is for the HPS version of France'14, not the JTS version.

If you are wondering why the fast turn around for this update, the main reason was the correction to the eliminated HQ restoration (it was taking far too long for eliminated HQs to get replaced, sometimes they never did at all; now it should take anywhere from 1 to 10 turns to replace, on average it will be about one day).
Here is a list of resource file changes:
v1.05
- Corrected a small problem where two French MG units were deployed with only two Movement Points remaining with the historical Plan XVII option in the #Grand_Campaign_F14-A scneario.
- Corrected a typo with "Deutsche Heer" to "Deutsches Heer" in all OOBs.
- Corrected some rail bridge types from light to heavy on the main map.
Nice to see a so fast reaction, usually HPS/JTS patches seem to "mature" long till they are made public.
I hope there will also be an update for the France14_104_pdf.exe because if you install that over the 1.05 patch you get an older version(from August) of the user pdf as the one from the 1.05 patch is from October.
Hmm, maybe it is better if they just removed that PDF link altogether, since it is included in the patch anyway...
Yea would be best to keep the documentation inside the patches, most pdf stuff is there already and it doesn't make sense to add another file just to update some of them.
In this case it looks to me at least from looking at the dates that the France14_104_pdf.exe gives newer versions of:
fwwc.pdf
fwwedit.pdf
These are not in the 1.05 patch and those from the installation are older as the one from the France14_104_pdf.exe.
Actually, I just looked into it and the 1.04 files should be identical. The dates might be different, but v1.05 did not change anything regarding the fwwc.pdf, fwwedit.pdf and user.pdf files (which are the ones that are included in that download).
For some reason I was thinking that the PDF download was for the notes.pdf, but this is included in the patch. ;)
In other words, everything should be fine. v1.04 of the game documentation is still current. Confusing, I know.
