Full Version: New Install on Windows Vista Home Edition?? HELP

my old computer finally crashed, i am trying to download the gamese to my wifes computer which is running the Windows Vista Home edition, i have gotten the first dowload of the games from the john tiller website, i cant get the game to startup the auto run seems to be the problem, can anyone help me on this ALSO:::::::::::::

can i get my old game from my hard drive which was on windows xp and have it put onto my wifes computer would that work??????

any help is much appreciated, i am lost without my games
Sorry, I have never had a Vista installation myself.

I don't see why the game would not work though, lots of player's had it at the time - and maybe still do? Here's a few links I found on Vista here, hope they help:

I guess the bottom line is that is should work, and we'd just need to find out why it doesn't for you... Maybe just try to do a re-install.

Out of memory you should have it under C:\Matrix Games\John Tiller's Campaign Series, as the operating systems C\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x86) require special permissions, at least with W7 which was the version I finally upgraded into from XP.
