Can anybody tell me a way in which I might reinstall the stock map into F 14? The new map does not have the various features as clearly defined; like rivers, canals and broken terrain especially, thanks jonny:

The only way I can see doing this is to uninstall F 14, reinstall the old version, save the map files somewhere else, then update again and then replace the map files. Is there an easier way?
Why not install the original to a new directory and then copy the map to the updated version?

Thanks. I had to uninstall, delete to the recycle bin, reinstall, save the map folder, delete the new install, restore the (older) updated version, and then move the map file to the updated F 14. But now I can see the river and other terrain features without straining my eyes! Thanks for your help Buccaneer! jonny

Ouch ... a lot of work ... but if you got it, that's all that counts!
Well depending on how big the changes you want are, you could also try them yourself.
The rivers and canals you mentioned were already modified by me for France 40(made them darker) and I simply copy and pasted these changes from these files into the France 14 files and had what I needed.

Sounds great! That's just what I need! Would you send me the file? FMWarbajan made a road enhancer for B 44 which I can send to you or anybody else that wants it; it makes the roads, especially the primary roads easier to spot in the deep wooded terrain. jonny

Well if river and canal are all you need changed I can surely can send them.
Beware that I'm not sure how they look with the new hex colors, personally I can't stand them and switch to the old and here the dark blue of river and canal comes through good enough to be clearly recognizable.

And sure I try the road enhancer although at least the primary roads seem clear enough for me but again that might just be because of the original hex colors. Secondary roads are worse and trails I all see when fully zoomed.

You will never mistake a primary for a secondary road in B 44 again! jonny Helmet Smile

The river & canal enhancer is great!!! Do you have anyting for broken terrain, villages and towns? jonny Big Grin
Well I could darken the broken terrain like the river and canals if that helps.
What is the problem with villages and towns?
