While that's great news, and I'm absolutely ecstatic to see Jison and his amazing art on the team, I'm fairly bummed at the prospect of waiting another 3 or more years for another shot at a late war Western Front game.

I am almost completely sure that the side cap which is visible being worn by Imperial Russian Army sapper, pontoon and apparently fort machine gun units in the game - they're present at Tannenberg and Lodz campaign for instance - is wrong for the modelling 1914 tzarist army forces headgear especially for land army. I have just made a quick research to confirm or invalidate my claim, but saw only one picture from 1916 and a remark that if it was used then it was present generally in navy and air branches.

Well, Osprey are displaying a drawing where a russian grenadier is wearing the cap in 1916. That in itself confirms, if we can trust Osprey, that the cap in question was used by the Imperial Russian Army during the First World War - and not only by the navy and air branches. I admit that I never managed to find the date, or even what year, they first started using it. But on the other hand, I couldnt find any info that said it wasnt used earlier than 1916 either.
In some cases, when information is sparse, all you can do is to make an 'educated' guess.
