One of my opponents has slowed down so I need one more to keep me busy. My conditions:

SPWW2
No or modest Z-fire restrictions*
Full Security

Aaaand that's about it. I'd love to play the early Italians vs the French or British somewhere besides the desert. (Maybe an early W Force hypothetical battle.) Open to any ideas.

I have a decent ELO, so when you beat me (and I'm due) your ladder stats may get a healthy bump!

* I just don't want to be accused of "gamesmanship" every time one of my rifle squads does ... its job. ;-)
I'm about to patch my WW2. I'm on hold in MBT because of the range filter bug. I only have one WW2 game going and we are far enough along so we can negotiate the results if the Patch blows up the saved games I'm sorta mentoring my opponent and already know the game will be a draw.
I'm good with Italian. French might be better then British. some time in '49 so you get the M13/40, which isn't a great tank but has a gun that will kill.
I have no idea what my ELO is. I gave up on ladders after the Leadeaters debacle back in '96 (or '98. Memory is the second thing to go).
I seldom use the z key en' mass. It is a poor substitute for tactics. I don't mind if my opponent does. Z key never kills but it does give away the position and numbers of my opponent. Free recon. I use the Z key in a historical manner, MG's mostly. Just to help see ambushes. I don't do marching fire. Generals like marching fire but they didn't have to do it.
May, 1940. M/E on map 086. More or less typical European terrain. That is a 100 by 100 map, IIRC. How big a battle are you comfortable with? Jagdpanther taught me to like those 500 unit battles. I do have one current requirement. I recently played someone that was 'adjusting' the Experience levels of my troops. Not a Blitz player and I didn't think the OOB could be done like that but there it was. I had Spetzna with Experience levels of approximately -20 instead of plus 20. Maybe he used a poke command to change the plus to a minus. Anyway, I like to play with country training off. The country training tables were built off Dunnigan's "How to Make War", second edition, which was published in '82. The later editions have changed (adjusted?) those tables as more data became available. Since Experience is the most critical number in the game, the less vapor involved the better. So I propose setting country training off and then training to 50 or 60.
Let me recap just to ensure I have everything straight:

Slot: 7 OK? (I have all but 0 and 4 free on the CD version.)
Turns: 25?
Visibility: 35?
Italy vs France
3600 points (with our cheap TOEs that will be a lot of units)
Meeting Engagement
Map 86 with custom, balanced VH clusters
Nation Training OFF and training set at 60 for both sides.
Artillery cap: 15% as counted by the game?

Sound good?
Ok, I need your E-mail. I thought we had played before but it isn't in my players book. I didn't find a way to attach files through the blits commo system.
Not sure why the E-mail address are hidden in a system that is supposed to support PBEM. I guess that made sense to someone.
