The decision not to have trails on the map was a mistake. Two obvious examples: In the north, trails that were part of 12.SS PD's Rollbahns leading to Krinkelt-Rotherath are not present. In the south, the trail CCR/7th Armored Division used to advance into Bastogne during Patton's relief effort is not there.
This can lead to certain villages not being depicted on the map, though why Losheimergraben in the north is omitted escapes me. Maybe extending a stream too far north to Losheim so a blown bridge could depict the blown railway bridge is the reason this bit of the road net looks off. (A tank ditch would serve the purpose.)
Well with the title so many years old IMO there is little or no chance of the map being changed, of course you could always contact Rich H at HPS to discuss your issues.
I did fire off the same message to Rich H at HPS sims.

Noticing that Napoleon's Russian Campaign got an update after all these years prompted me to give it a shot.

There had been some agitation for an NRC update over at the NWC.

So I'm hoping to promote Bulge '44 map change here :-)

Anyone else like to see this?

Some years ago I made exactly the same comment about the missing trail in the 12th SS area when working on my Bulge scenario. Unfortunately did not get anywhere. I was not aware of the missing trail near Bastogne but have checked that area and the trail used by 7th Armoured is missing.
I may be getting stupid in my old age here, but I don't recall the 7 Arm at Bastogne, just 4th, 9th and 10th.
You know enough about the Bulge to know it was 4th Armored doing the Bastogne relief effort, Josey.
My Mis type (It is the 4th in my scenario).
Isn't the Bulge a popular enough wargaming topic that an effort to get the map right would be appreciated?
I wish I had a map editor that could do the trick.
I have to agree with that.
