Hello Friends,

Since today I play against a good friend the Game
Near Disaster AT West Chapel. This game has never been assessed, but already downloaded. After the end of the ave round I of course wanted to hire nor the artillery preparation for the next turn, but there are no objective points as usual. I then tested it against the AI​​, since it works for the Germans, but not with the ave landing troops. Does anyone know why this may be. Is it a bug in the scenario? Sorry for my Enlisch, is a translation program.

I think I know what Peter means. When the Allies go to plot artillery there is no artillery crosshairs in the plot hex. I checked the org file and the off-board guns are there. I also checked the scenario file and the off-board guns are included in the "Add Off-Board Artillery" mini-map that comes up when you plot. All the Allied artillery except for mortars is off-board.

So at this point I am not really sure what is going on. Confused

Could it be the water along the whole Allied board edge? In other words does the game think the guns are in a water hex and hence can't fire? I also believe this scenario was done before the new CS was available if that matters.

Further Update:

I played a couple of turns as the Allies in this scenario and the Allied Off-Board artillery doesn't work. It doesn't give a crosshairs artillery plot and doesn't come down in the next turn.

Obviously there is a glitch going on here.

How about one of you players who have experience with this scenario... send an email or PM the developer? Give him a "heads up" (he may not be aware of the glitch) so he can address the issue.

Just took a quick glance in the editor, my initial guess is all that ordnance is out of range? Will check more in the meantime, gotta check ranges. just a guess, some is pretty far out there, and had that problem in an RS scenario!!

Nope, not the range, they show up fine.... This sounds like something we've run into before, hmmm... Stand by.

I suspect if the guns are in water they will not fire. I had the same problem with A Close Run Thing scenario which is why I had to put in islands for the guns to be placed........just a guess not having seen the scenario.
