Folks,
I was wondering if it would be possible to populate the CW-Europe Scenario Data Base with the existing scenarios that come with the install of this mod. Right now there are 3 scenarios listed, all designs after the fact.
Having said that, is there an easier way to populate globally rather than a one for one exchange?
I'm thinking probably not because in the mechanics of adding scenarios to the DB there has to be a minimum of 3 entities to each zip file (map, org and scn files). So the population would be time consuming at best.

Hmm, don't know what to say, but they should be entered in, by all means! BTW, still working on the Uber-patch for CW!!
It was my understanding that Stefan / Panther was going to enter them into the database within the next several months, but I seem to recall that he was waiting for an important update to come out before getting started on the uploads.
He and I are also playtesting a few scenarios, so it could also be possible that he wants to get an idea about balance on a few scenarios first. Stefan also suggested that some scenarios need tweaking, so it could also be that he doesn't want to upload a 'rough draft' until the scenario has been playtested and/or the next big update comes (which Warhorse and Stefan are currently working on). I don't know when the next update is to be released though.
Will be a while now, unfortunately, I've stopped work on all my projects except for the 2dicon work for Matrix/Slitherine, just not enough time in a day, coming along nicely though!

Earlier, I forgot to mention something some folks might not know; The CW updates can sometimes cause some scenarios to no longer work. This was another reason Stefan is hesitating to upload - if a big update comes out, he could be forced to possibly pull a large number of scenarios and start all over, which would of course be a huge mess.
Best to make sure the 'major' updates are all out first imo, then in the future, adding new units and new nations should not cause any future scenario problems.
and on the subject of major additions to CW, was there ever any progress toward adding a tropical template to the game? I would like to see some CW scenarios set in central america and Africa, but it can't currently be done without those tropical (and desert) graphics.
I NEVER alter anything to mess up an existing scenario, it takes some attention to detail, but that is a number one no-no in modding!!

Your on the mark on this latest issue with scenarios not working. It appears to me there is a problem with the West German org files. This became apparent to me when a number of my developed scenarios crashed when I opened them in the scenario editor. Apparently to me the culprit looks like its this organization for either the panzer or panzer grenadier battalion: STABS-VERSORGUNGSKOMPANIE. There are 3-4 units in that company that are listed in the org but not physically available there to place on the map.
So my assumption was if these units where there before the last update (which was Belgian unit English Translation I think but I am not 100% sure) and now they are not it had to be related to an update.
The mechanics of the crash are simple. Somehow all the orgs were changed in an update. For pre-existing scenarios the scenario editor says there should be a unit on the map, the org file says No I don't have one, we have a conflict of interest----CRASH!
Not sure how this gets fixed or what really caused it but to go back through all the existing scenarios to correct to org files would be a chore.
