How do you handle a player that half way though a game has not sent a turn in 30 days and has not responded back to ask if we are still playing? The game is currently still undecided...

As TheBigRedOne says, those rules apply. Generally, we send a 'flare' through the forums as well. Players usually report the game at least 7 days after they've posted a message in the forums. Once you report the game, please be sure to check the box where it says 'Please select this checkbox if the game was forfeited by your opponent'.

For what it's worth, BBrus has already stated the correct procedure. If you're about to reach the 21th day from your opponent's last turn you should:

1) Post a flare in the forum or send an email to your opponent CC-ing one of the ladder commanders.
2) If you don't get a reply after a few days and more than 21 days have passed, you are entitled to a total victory.

A flare with the player's name will also warn the others not to play with him and lose their time.

I thought it was 30, I waited 27 days on Weapon42 and was just itching. I do see now that it states 21, was this just recently changed?

It was 21 days at least from 2007 when i ve joined Blitz

cargol is right. I don't recall when the interval was set to 21 days, but it must have been long,long ago. Probably, you mentally confused the 3 weeks the rules mention with 30 days.
