If any of you are playing the campaign (On to Vienna - OTV.cpd) you may have run into a problem on the SECOND day of the situations in and around Apsern-Essling: visibility never gets any better than the 1 hex range of a night turn on the 21st to early morning turn of the 22nd. Dawn to day weather lines are missing from the PDT file that is used for these scenarios.

One of our customers noted this on the Game Squad forum, I checked with Rich Hamilton on this and he said that we could put out an "A" update to remedy the problem. It is only ONE PDT File that has this issue I believe.

I updated the PDT file to include WEATHER data lines for the dawn thru dusk turns of the 22nd so pretty much the problem is solved. What I plan on doing before I call it a "wrap" is check out the other PDT files for any other issues like this. If I find any that lack "day 2" weather data I will add it in.

Hoping that truly that would be the LAST update I have to be involved in. Of course the main program will get updated as John has time to spend on the series but for my part ... well I would like to finally bow out of the Eckmuhl thru Austerlitz update process. I DO have one or two files for one of the games to include in a future update but it is not a game changer at this point like this Wagram issue is.

Thus if you get to the second day of Aspern-Essling in the campaign and find that the visibility is still 1 you may either want to just do a Termination Bid or wait for the update. I am going to try and get the file(s) over to John Tiller/Rich Hamilton ASAP. No idea when the update will be out but at least you know that we are looking into fixing this problem.

Note: the problem file is called "Bridge_French.pdt." The fix I did was rather easy: just copy the weather data lines that are already in the file (May 21 1809) and then just copy them and then change the date to be May 22 1809. No, not saying you guys should do this ... ;)
