Hello all,
After making and playing a couple of the Panzer Grenadier to JTCS conversion scenarios, I have come to the conclusion that using the scenario information from the PG games is not the best way to design a JTCS scenario. In most instances, converting a PG scenario to JTCS format is not possible because many aspects of the PG game series can not be duplicated in JTCS. What I have decided to do is to use the scenario booklets from the PG games that I have as a general reference and then use other research sources to design the JTCS scenarios. I am currently working with Kool Kat on his favorite subject, Finland's war with the Soviet Union and Germany. We are using the Google Earth method of designing the maps and Jason (Matrix) has given us a most valuable map making resource in the way of US Army 1:250,0000 maps from the late 1940s and early 1950s. Warhorse has is also one of the very few that have given me insight into how to make good scenarios. Together, (Kat, Jason, and Warhorse) have taught me a great deal over the past few weeks and I thank each and every one of them.
