West Front - Creating new scene with both sides' front line units set to zero action points at design time for turn 1. When starting the scene, the attacker has zero APs. But on turn 1 for the defender, they have full APs. Any idea what's happening?

Not sure what you want happen here but
Everytime a turn changes the phasing side will get all their aps back........best way to achieve no action for both sides on turn one is to fix all the units......even then they will be able to fire........

Well, what I was expecting is that on defenders turn 1 that the zero APs would show. But on their turn 1 they get full APs. Seems that they shouldn't get them till turn 2.
It's similar to the problem with VV. While it still may be turn one for side 2 the vis will change..thus if the first part of the turn has a vis of 4 the second part might be 7.

Same with APs. Once the next side comes up they get all APS. I tried this years ago and only way to come anywhere near solving it is fix all units both sides for turn 1.

I've played a few scenarios with the 1st turn fixed units and it works quite well! Smile Gives each player a turn to set opt fire before the inevitable "contact" is established!
