Hi,
I'm using TOAW last version with scenario Double Eagle-Rising Sun version 3 created by Erik Nygaard.

First of all I have problem starting my turn (as Russian) in the pbem. When I load and set the password all I get is an empty screen.

Second, fleets starts as fixed weapons and, if moved, lower their attack rate to 0. Is this possible or is, as I think, wrong? I've read about it in a post of August 2011, still don't know if it's fixed or not by now.

Thanks to all
Andrea

From my own experience I draw a conclusion that each Erik's scenario - and I am playing the last of of those I happen to know - is a little flawed. The only exception is Holland '44 as it seems. I played "DE-RS" about two or three years ago and commanding the tzarist army I noticed a problem with the events - I used to choose the activation of the Russian reserve and territorial units, but they remained fixed firmly for the whole duration of the hostilities - the game was started under the previous patch version and the game engine had been updated by both of us in the meantime I think, but did not notice a problem; the Baltic squadron arrived and clashed with the IJN which prompted my opponent's surrender, but now the more I think , the more I am convinced he did have a problem with moving his fleet. However, I did not have any with the Russian navy for some reason.

Oh, one more thing - we, my oponent and me, wrote Erik about the issues a couple of times then, but to no avail, even though he had responded some time before when I was playing "A Bridge too Far".
Hi Marcin,
we managed the fixed fleets problem by using the 2.1 version. My opponents says it's ok, I never played this scenario but till now I have found a lot of problems (and I'm still at turn 1). Thanks anyway for your reports, I think you might be right regards fleets problems.

Plus, the empty screen still remaining. When I set the russian password, all I have is an empty screen with nothing to click.

Anyone else have played this scenario version 2.1?

Will try again a little more, maybe it's just my fault...otherwise will try to mail Erik about that, maybe I'm more lucky :)
Solved, my opponent send me the scenario file without the eqp and that caused the crash in the start screen.

Will post a report about the game at the end about errors, like burroughs said.
