I'm not sure where to report this so I thought this is the place.

There are 2 Austrian units that don't say their fixed in place and they can not move. Here is the locations of them: (197,525) and (200,522). I'm sure its a known thing but I thought I would post it anyways.

Use "Go on foot" and you can move them at least...

Problem is they are a motorized unit in terrain that is prohibited to them for movement. At least they can go on foot. There have been a couple campaigns I have played which had HQ's in such terrain that were stuck permanently since they can't go on foot.

Kasserine Pass Tunisia '42 is one (American regimental HQ for the 1st infantry division). And some Russian HQ in Kharkov '42 (which I believe was fixed by Volcano man back in the day).

Note that it doesn't matter if they are not in Travel Mode...the fact that they have trucks prevents them from moving into the terrain, and if they are in it, they can only move along a road (in travel mode) to get out.

Setting them to "go on foot" won´t help either (I tried). I pointed this out back in 2008 btw. ;)
Actually JDR Dragoon, using them on foot does get them to move out of location. Now that their on the road I'll see if I can get them in the truck next turn.
Okay. News to me, so perhaps they did fix it in 1.02. Or are you playing some scenario variant other than stock?

*EDIT*
They did fix something, since that american helicopter/howitzer thingie can suddenly shoot and is now useful. So YEAH!

Still can´t get them down from those mountaintops though, even on foot.

*EDIT EDIT*

Well, I see you are playing _alt. Since infantry there has higher movement in general (and the .pdt is different), this might explain it, meaning that they do not have enough MPs to exit the hex.

*EDIT EDIT EDIT*

Confirmed: Using "On Foot" works in _alt, but not in stock.
I will put them as "on foot" at the start of the game in the next _Alt update. ;)
