Tonight at 8:00 on TCM, 'All Quiet on the Western Front' is playing. This is the original classic with Lew Ayres. He in real life was a pacifist. Highly recommend watching.

Great book as well, written by Erich Remarque, a German veteran of World War I.

I recommend his other book: 'A Time to Love and a Time to Die' (East Front of WWII this time).
