HPS just released Jutland Update 1.07.
The Update includes:
Changes for Jutland V1.07
- Initial John Tiller Software release.
- Added Settings Option for displaying icons in Jump and Ultra Zoom-Out
Charts.
- Added Optional Rule for seeing owned ship-fired torpedoes at all ranges.
- Added ability to view Database Dialog from Help Menu in Order of Battle
Editor.
- Added additional zoom-out view.

New member posting. I wanted to let you know that I updated my Jutland to version 1.07 and there are some very interesting information in the user's guide.
There is a secion on more detailed advanced submarine rules that are mentioned as being in a Naal Campains series title called "WOLFPACK." Not all naval campaigns will use the new rules - JUTLAND does not.
Advanced sub rules include:
Reduced nighttime spotting
Battery performance
Snorkels
Inhibiting default actions (periscope, snorkling, gunfire)
Sonar speed limitations
Passive sonar range modifiers
Thermoclines
Sonar blind zones
Torpedo Data Computer
Torpedo Reliability
Depth Charge Hit percentages
Electric torpedoes
Depth bombs
Sonobouys
Submarine decoys
Contact only weapons (Limbo, Hedgehog)
Magnetic Anomaly Detection
Homing Torpedoes
If that is not enough, there is also a section on anti-ship missile hit probabilities and picture of PLA Navy Yuan class submarines in the manual -suggesting a modern naval game might also be somewhere over the horizon.
Hope you find this intel interesting - I personally can't wait for a game like this - each title has improved on the last and multiplayer convoy vs. wolfpack battles could be very intense. Credit card put on alert.
