Direct fire at the trucks is carried out using units soft attack value. This in most cases is not much of an issue, but in some special units this can lead to a bizzare situatio. Take for instance late war german tank hunter squads. With 28 harrd attack they are leathal using their panzerfaust. However soft attack of 1 transpires panzerfausts were uselss against unarmored vehicles :). I know this is a game limitation resulting from the design and I cannot think of easy patch, but more fundamental chamge. But still an interesting thought that tank hunters can easily kill a Halftrack K here it comes Earl :) ) but strugle with ordinary truck :)
Then again, sniper units could put explosive bullets (apparently) into truck's fuel tanks with a devastating effect...
When fighting the beasts the trucks and haftracks are, better to choose your weapon well!
Add to that the "hard" pillbox and the "soft" bunker?
Yes, some things you just have to live with?

Yeah score one for the trucks..........and by the way you can drive the trucks in my garage in places you couldn't track a mule..........halftracks are way overated.......I don't usually even mention them except in extreme emergency situations :-)
Next unit coming will be "flying trucks"........duck!
