Within the next several days, the Eastern and North-Eastern United States is going to be hit by what weather forecasters are saying could be the storm of the century; “The Perfect Storm“.

If you have any ongoing PBEM games against opponents who live in this affected area of the United States, please be extra patient for the next few weeks. With the expected major power outages, you will have great difficulty being able to contact your opponents.

We were right in the path of the storm, but inland. Lost power briefly a few times, but no local wind damage or flooding. A few relatives closer to the shore have some trees down and are still without power.

Sounds like people by the sea got hit hardest.

If you have opponents in the NorthEast don't expect contact for a while yet. I know quite a few people in New Jersey and hardly any of them have power at home, most have limited power at work, but often without telephone or internet.

Some are being told they'll have power by Monday, others Thursday.
