June 28th marked the 70th anniversary of the original Armored Division. There was an event where some re-enactments were made. Unfortunately, I missed it, these are pictures by 'Hanski' from Axis History Forum:

A T-34 in the midst of a restoration project, with no insignia or other markings, carrying the flag of the division.

A StuG IIIG in peace time camo. Note the sturdy Soviet DT MG the MG-42s were replaced with. Served until early 1960s would you believe it.

A captured 45mm ATG shows it still packs a punch! The young gunners seem to be having a blast as well :)

Kudos for Armored Guild and Defence Forces for keeping these beauties in working condition for new generations to marvel at Salute
Good stuff, Petri, thanks!!
Ditto
Wish I could have made it there, fooling around with that 45mm especially looked like fun Helmet Wink
Wish I was there!
