I wanted to drop this in here, as I have been the webmaster for SPWGame.com for the past couple of years now (and am currently working on material for the series).

Aside from that - the point of this thread is where you can ask questions about the series and I'll respond, or find out the answers.
___

Der Weltkrieg (aka DWK), has been around since about 1997, and is division level series of (at this point) the First World War. All titles will be republished this year, including a new title: Grand Campaign which adds in strategic elements (production, various alternate strategies like involving Holland or Switzerland, alternate alliances [ I assume like what if Italy had remained a part of the Central Powers ] and ties all of the individual titles together allowing for replaying the War in Europe and the Middle East.

Anyways -since I am a member here, I figured that I ought to have a thread here as well.

After this next product is available (I think the goal is to be out some time this Summer), the series will move on to tackling the 2nd World War in the ETO.
New Rulebooks available

http://www.spwgame.com/rules.php

The new rules are labeled as ‘Sterling Edition’, plus also posted are the final draft for ‘The Grand Campaign’, and the Production Book for ‘The Grand Campaign’.

Please give these a look through; Dave (Schroeder) is asking for feedback to be posted here, on the SPW Blog, or under the DWK folder inside Consimworld proper - any way you choose, I will make certain Dave gets your feedback.
Hi: I'm the webmaster of SPW's official website www.spwgame.com, and with the forthcoming release of the Grand Campaign, as well as re-releasing of titles, am going to reconfigure the website to a degree.

The purpose of this isn't to introduce a radically different design, but rather to create more room to present information on the home page more effectively.

My other purpose is to canvas wargamers, gamers, and history buffs, as to what other content that they would find most useful on the web page, and to start a discussion geared to the site achieving that end.

As time progresses I will be posting screenshots of the page development as needed, as well as be available to address any issues involved in the process.

Edited: also - I was off about the release date on these products -as it looks like being closer to Xmas time this year.

Edited in lieu of punting the thread (4 Mar 2013), I am no longer going to be working on the official SPW page after March 2013 due to other obligations.
