In the MBT game what is the Difference between Virsses an CIWS?
Any help would be apreciated. Thanks, Volker

In game turns CIWS is marginaly more effective than VIRSS though the diffrence is not worth worrying about. I think there are only a couple of vehicles in the game when you can choose the type fitted namely Russian MBTs so buy the CIWS varient.

However & I am not sure here but I dont think all VIRSS & Guided Missiles are the same I have a feeling there are 2 most likely 3 ranks of them.
In other words missiles like ATGMs have 2 or 3 diffrent base chances of defeating the defence system. Keeping simple a modern ATGM would have more chance of making it through than an 1980s one vs the same target.
Like I say this is just a feeling I have.

Hi. Interesting thread. Please I need know the significance of acronym "VIRSS", "CIWS" and "ERA". That can help me to understand all this. My poor english limits me to understand.

I have a teacher very good. He help me with my english. He is google translator Big Grin2. But I put some of mine. Before I wrote in Spanish, translated with google and pasted. Now I try write in english and correct it with google.

I know when I lived in Japan for a little while I had to learn some Japanese and I was not used to it. I just kept plugging away at it. I think with practice we all get better.;)
