Sorry a very ignorant question but I don't know. I want to start doing the PBEM and join a ladder. How do I do it?

Marc
Hi Marc,

No worries. Upper right corner of the site when logged in is a link for "control panel". Click it. Under the "Blitz" link is an area for joining ladders.

As a new campaign series member you'll be placed in bootcamp. You'll need to play one game by email (PBEM) with another member and register the result to get out of bootcamp and start working your way up.

Post here to ask players for a game or email me and I'll recommend a few you might challenge.

Welcome to CS,

Dave
Marc,

There is no such thing as an ignorant question!

What Scud says is correct, if you need an opponent fire up a small scenario and send it over to me!

Welcome to the Blitz and we're very glad you are interested!!

Welcome Marc! :)
Marc - if you want out of boot camp pick a game and send it to me.

Dang you guys are da bomb.....very freindly ans helpful.....Kudos to Ashcloud for talking me into it.....glad I did
It will have to be Friday before I have a chance to play. Does the game have to EF? WF? or RS? or can I do all 3 bootcamps from all 3 games?

It can be any single scenario, stock or custom from the database (see scenarios section in the top menu), it doesn't have to be a boot camp (training game) from the disks.

For your boot camp game either go with someone you know or another new PBEM player or with a old hand that will offer you advice and tips as you go along some of them also will record draws or a lower victory levels for the first few games while you learn the ropes. cheers
