HPS just released the Direct Download version of The Proud & The Few.

You can find it here: http://www.hpssims.com/shopping/shopdisp...ad+Battles
If I had any money I would get this one...I will eventually. Seems to get good feedback and I lack a pacific SB. Those of you that have the Pacific SB's...is this the one to have?
They are both must haves in my book! :smoke:
Don't knock Pacific War either... it's got some good scenarios in it covering a wide swath of history in ww2.

I've also found Vietnam to be another humble yet great pacific Squad Battles game - especially if you're in to infantry combat, as tanks rarely make an appearance here. We kinda see the birth of modern war as we know it today in this game and era. It focuses tightly on the U.S. marine corp involvement in the early war years in Vietnam.
It's great that Tiller/HPS are making this available on DD. I think folks overseas who didn't want to pay the shipping costs, this will expand the market for these games. I'd imagine that all the games will go this route over the next few months.
Proud and few is a good title. Nik B. and I have been having some great battles in P & F. Even has dogs in it. I also think it models well the no surrender policy of the Japanese. even if they get pinned it's hard to take their hex.

Steve has beaten me to it (just like our games!). P&F is good fun and I've played some of my most enjoyable games with him on this title.

Um I think Steve is referring to dogs in the game not his opponent from down under.

[/quote]A dingo ate me baby! (oh ya, that's Aus) No Nik, look at my win loss percentage. Usually it is you serving me up as my men get jungle rot or fried up in their caves by a Ronson!
