Gents my apologies for slow turns but we are making preparations for the arrival of Irene so my gaming has slowed down a bit. We should be safe but you never know. Since we live about 90 miles east of NYC (fortunately on a hill several miles inland) we will most likely be in the worst quadrant. A lot will depend on how fast it moves through. They are estimating 21 hours of 1-2 inches of rain per hour. No drought here but probably a lot of down trees. We lost seven to Gloria in 1985-fortunately none hit the house. Hope our luck holds. Best wishes to all of you south of here in the path of Irene. May the Lord bless you and keep you safe.
Good Luck Phil!
All the best Phil.
Stay safe, Phil.
Stay safe Phil.
Best of luck Phil. I'm in Jersey myself, just hoping to not get flooded out. I'm far enough inland that I think the winds should not be too much of a factor, but we've had flooding several times before.
Best of luck to anyone else that may be on the East Coast.
finally we got power back this afternoon. No major damage but lots of cleanup and lots of freezer food thrown out. We are still sorting things out but I will get turns out by the end of the weekend. Big Grin
Glad to hear it Phil. Thanks for the update.
Glad every one is safe, food can be replaced.
