There are two possible reasons for this....
1) The messages from the Blitz site are being treated as Spam by your Email account and are ending up in your Spam/Junk folder, to prevent this most Email software allows you to mark messages that end up in these folders as "safe" or "not Spam/Junk" and allow them into your inbox.
2) Some ISP providers have blocked all messages originating from the Blitz site (Comcast is one), to get round this you can create a free Hotmail,Gmail etc...account and use this address for your club activities, the site messages may still initially end up in the Spam/Junk folders but at least you can solve that by taking the actions in 1).
